About me

Becoming a veterinarian has always been clear and undeniable for me. My desire was practically instilled in me through my parents' animal welfare work. Growing up with dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, and a stone marten, I immediately set my dream into action after graduating from high school and studied veterinary medicine at the University of Veterinary Medicine (TiHo) in Hannover. Since my licensing in 2008, I have been working as a veterinarian in various small animal practices.

The multifaceted field of veterinary medicine fascinated and fulfilled me from the very beginning. Only the approach to classical lameness diagnosis continually posed a challenge for me, as the causes often need to be identified by provoking pain—something that contradicts my ethical beliefs.

Therefore, I began to seek new ways to investigate and treat movement disorders.

With chiropractic, I found a gentler method in which the joints are examined and balanced in a stress-free environment through gentle movements.

During my further training at the International Academy of Veterinary Chiropractic (IAVC), I learned that chiropractic is not only effective in treating lameness but also can have a variety of other positive effects on the body.

I found it particularly exciting that chiropractic is not only used therapeutically but also has a preventive effect—an aspect that I often missed in classic veterinary medicine.

These insights led me to decide to additionally offer chiropractic in my own practice alongside my position at the Tierarztpraxis am Steinbach.

As a licensed veterinarian with over 17 years of professional experience, I now combine this gentle manual therapy with solid veterinary knowledge to provide your beloved pet with gentle and holistic care.

Die Praxis:

The practice room is located on the first floor and is only accessible via stairs. For dogs that have difficulties going up and down stairs, we will find an individual solution. Please feel free to talk to me about it.

During the day, there are always plenty of parking spaces available, and there is an area nearby for a walk before or after the treatment.
